Rambert. The Triptych
Sopot Dance Theatre – Dance [SIC!] Association
The performance, as the title says, is a triptych inspired by the life and work of the dancer, dance teacher and founder of the oldest dance company in Great Britain – Marie Rambert. Each of the parts of the Rambert. The Triptych refers to a different period in the artistic and private biography of Marie Rambert and can exist independently as a complete whole. However, only when put together do they constitute a full, rich artistic statement, which on the one hand delights with its diversity, and on the other, shows the complexity and interpenetration of Marie’s worlds.

Performance created as a part of Choreographic Territories – New Paths for the Avant-Garde Programme – 2020 as part of the Long-term Program NIEPODLEGŁA for the years 2017-2021 supported by the East European Performing Arts Platform (EEPAP), the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, the Institute of Music and Dance – Poland.
Dance [SIC!] Association also collaborated with the Theatre on the Beach / Baltic Artistic Agency BART and the City of Sopot.
