Poprawiny etude is a moving creation that addresses the topics of patriotism, tradition, and freedom. The inspiration for the creation of the performance was the bicentennial anniversary of the first Polish ballet, Krakow wedding in Ojcow (Wesele krakowskie w Ojcowie).
This work was created during the partitions and was a pretext for the manifestation of Polish identity and the presentation of national folk tradition.
Poprawiny portrays a contemporary, individual approach to the aforementioned values, and also encourages their perception and experience.
