November 19th marks the International Scientific Conference „Education in the Art of Dance in the Face of Contemporary Challenges: The Significance of Dance in General Education.” / Poland
In the upcoming 2323/24 season, you’ll have the chance to see Siyah Altın / Black Gold a dance etude crafted to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Ankara State Opera and Ballet’s Contemporary Dance Company. The performance will take place at the State Opera and Ballet, promising an exciting experience in contemporary dance.
On July 2, 2023, we performed in Konin at the Open the Window to Culture Theater Festival organized by Konin. This was the second time we had the pleasure of presenting our performance alongside many other theaters from Poland and around the world. The artists of Konin Dance Theater performed Origami, choreographed by Anna Akabalı, outdoors for the first time. As always, the Konin audience was fantastic, and we are sincerely grateful for your support.

On June 4, 2023, the Konin Dance Theater had the privilege of participating in the vibrant event CONTESTPORARY FINAL 2023 organized by the Dance Company of the Poznań University School of Physical Education (AWF Poznań).
Our artists led repertoire workshops and showcased excerpts from the Origami performance, choreographed by Anna Akabalı. The dancers taught participants one of the duets from the performance, accompanied by live music from Kajetan Pilarski.

You are warmly invited to join us on June 4, 2023, at the Pavilion in Poznań for a masterclass and a presentation featuring an excerpt from the Origami performance, choreographed by Anna Akabalı.
This year’s masterclass will be conducted by Maria Chrysostomou and Kinga Furmaniak.
The duet emphasizes uncomplicated partnering and a continuous flow of movement between partners. You will also have the opportunity to witness the duet in a later presentation by the ensemble.
